We’ve been so happy to see an improved economy and so many of our customers and friends working on their homes and various projects throughout the year. It is really hard to believe we are headed into December and the Christmas season already! As we reflect back over the year we’ve seen a tremendous number of folks building new farm buildings to either house their animals or farm equipment keeping Greg and the guys busy pulling orders and loading trucks to head all over the Willamette Valley and into Central Oregon as well. Our local DIY market has been busy with YOU learning to do your own home projects; from decks, fences and other outside construction projects to repairs in the kitchen and bathroom, you have been busy and we love to help.
We are bursting with anticipation about the new Amy Howard at Home line that we’ve have brought in sparking a new interest in home projects! We can’t wait to see your before and after photos posted to our Facebook page. It works beautifully on everything from kitchen tables and small pieces of furniture to kitchen cabinet makeovers and we’ve seen people jump in with great enthusiasm over both the products and classes! We look forward to introducing more classes in 2016. Keep an eye out, as we will be bringing back Ladies Night in May of 2016!
We have been very fortunate to join forces with “Oregon Youth Authority – MacLaren” here in town. The young men there will be helping to design and produce our Lil Hammers projects now. A win/win for both organizations! The skills that we have seen so far from them are spectacular and we are happy to be able to help provide them with an opportunity to put their skills to use in a positive manner.
We are also a drop off location for Love Santa, Inc. this year. This organization does great work in our community providing meals and gifts for those that need a little helping hand during the Christmas Season. We can accept nonperishable food and toys at Long Bros through the week of December 14th. If you would like to volunteer for this organization, they will need help the week of December 14th and they work out of the Woodburn Armory located at 1630Park Avenue (or you can contact the Love Santa, Inc. Board at [email protected].)
From our family and crew at Long Bros., we would like to Thank You for your continued support of our small business. We would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to serving you in 2016.
