Following up from our last months article on agriculture fencing; this is the residential piece of the puzzle.  Fencing can be attractive and completely change the curb appeal of your home while keeping pets and kids safe and sound or backyards more private and secure.

Long Bros. carries two types of residential fencing that are most common to the area.

WE STOCK:

1. Chain Link Fencing which does not need any kind of weather protection because it’s a galvanized product with great longevity. This works well for keeping in small animals and division of property.  You can see thru the fence so in residential situations it doesn’t offer much privacy, but if simply keeping pets or kids in the yard, this might be just what you need!  We keep 4′, 5′ and 6′ tall in stock and we have everything you need at Long Bros from start to finish from the posts and wire to the parts and pieces – it’s all in stock.

2. Cedar Wood Fencing is great for keeping in small animals and children but it also provides privacy because you cannot visually see thru the fence. 6′ is the standard height and it comes in 1″ x 6″ x 6′ Board.  Options for thicknesses are 5/8″ and 3/4” along with two types of edges -flat top or dog eared. We can help ensure that you leave with everything you need to complete the project.  You are welcome to bring in drawings and measurements and let us figure the fence for you. Once your cedar fence is complete, we can help you with the right stain to lengthen the life of the boards and to protect the fence from sun and general wear and tear.
